Use the iPhone as a wireless drive

I stumbled across DataCase yesterday, and gotta say, it’s pretty damn cool. It’s perfect for storing the 360|Flex San Jose schedule, the Ignite Denver sponsorship packet, etc things that I might have need of while out and about.
The app makes your iPhone (iNewton) visible on bonjour.
It’s 7 bucks, certainly worth one less Venti Mocha Frapaccino this month.
The crazy lozenge thing showing the break down of file types is a little odd, and I don’t know how to get the cool chart illustrated above.
One bummer, pages files don’t work on it. Go figure. I know the app isn’t Apple, but you’d think the iPhone could load a pages file, oh well. Maybe subsequent versions.
Overall I think this app is great. It’easy to use, you have to approve connections, so it’s not like people are just connecting willy nilly to your phone. Being able to have access to files you need, is kinda nice, for those random bits of time when you don’t have the trusty laptop.
